Sacraments

Infant through Pre-K Baptism Six-month parish membership and four preparation sessions are required for the parents and Godparents. For further information, contact Sandi Allison-Harris or the Parish Life Center (202) 678-3709.

Pre-K through grade 8 Baptism
Regular attendance at Religious Education classes required. Special classes for parents and Godparents will be arranged. For further information contact Patricia Waddell.

Marriage Preparation
Preparation sessions must be nine months prior to the date of marriage. Contact Parish Life Center.

Religious Education
Classes for students Pre-K through Grade 8 are held on Sunday from 11:30a.m. to 1:00p.m. at the Parish Life Center, 1401 V Street SE. For further information contact Patricia Waddell.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS
RCIA is a process for:
(1) those who have never been baptized,
(2) those baptized in another faith who wish to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church,
(3) returning Catholics, those not confirmed, and others wishing to renew and enrich their faith life.

Sick and Shut-in
We are happy to visit sick people at any time. Please contact the staff at the Parish Life Center and provide the names of those needing a pastoral visit.

Funerals
A family member should call the Parish Life Center as soon as possible after the death of a loved one to make arrangements.
